I only use the best quality ingredients (fair trade where possible) and only use free range eggs. I can make you a cake that not only looks great but tastes great as well. I am able to provide not only traditional rich fruit cakes, but also lighter versions and of course sponge cakes. Plain sponge with buttercream and jam filling is my most popular, but I can also offer many other flavours such as chocolate, coffee, lemon, orange, coconut. I am always trying out new and exciting and unusual flavours (including beetroot, parsnip, carrot and courgette!) so don't be afraid to ask if you have something specific in mind!

“Prices from” are based on ingredients, overheads and time/wages (£10 per hour, so just off minimum wage) to make a 4 layer, 4-5” deep filled, base coated (or marzipan for fruit cakes) and fondant or royal icing covered cake, with up to 2hours decoration time, an inscription and presented on a board and boxed.
Some designs/techniques for example, sculpted models, cake toppers, sugar or paper flowers etc will take more time and skill but I will always discuss upfront with you during the quote process, there will be no hidden surprises.
If comparing cake decorators, bear in mind skill level, experience, and speed.

I would always recommend meeting with you to discuss in person.
I use the prices and structure above as guide. I won’t charge extra just because it is a wedding cake, but will need to add the cost for extra structure/support, and my time and fuel for delivery and set up. This will always be discussed in advance.
Delivery
I may be able to offer free local delivery* but this is subject to schedule/workload.
*Non local delivery will be charged as per government tax guidelines (currently 45p per mile) plus time
